About the game
Brick Breaker is a classic arcade game: bounce the ball off your paddle and smash the colourful bricks at the top of the screen. From a heart to a diamond, from a butterfly to a fortress, 15 hand-made levels are waiting for you. Silver and gold bricks that take several hits, unbreakable steel blocks and bomb bricks that blast everything around them make every level feel different. Play Brick Breaker online free in your browser or on your phone, no download needed.
How to play
- On a phone: Drag your finger left and right and the paddle follows. Tap to launch the ball.
- On a computer: Move the paddle with the mouse or the ← → keys; click or press Space to launch. P pauses.
- The ball bounces off depending on where it hits the paddle: straight up from the middle, at a flatter angle from the edges.
- Clear every breakable brick to move on to the next level. You have 3 lives.
Bricks and power-ups

Tips
- Use the edges: Catch the ball with the edge of your paddle to aim it at the side walls; get it behind the bricks and they break in a chain.
- Aim for the bombs: A bomb brick clears a big area in one go.
- Build combos: The more bricks the ball breaks before it comes back to your paddle, the more points each brick is worth.
- Capsule or ball? Never lose the ball chasing a capsule; always save the ball first.
FAQ
How many levels are there? There are 15 different hand-made levels; after level 15 they start again with a faster ball.
How are points calculated? Every 100 score gives 1 leaderboard point, and every level you reach adds +2 points.
What happens when I run out of lives? Once per game you can watch a short ad to get +1 life and carry on from the same level.
