About the game
Land Grab is a territory game played on a colourful grid. You start inside your own zone, leave a trail behind you when you step outside, and when you loop back home everything inside your loop becomes yours. But watch out: if a rival touches your trail, you're out! Play free in your browser on desktop or mobile, with nothing to download.
How to play
- Computer: Steer with the mouse; your player turns towards the pointer. Arrow keys or W A S D also work. Space pauses.
- Phone: Touch the screen and drag your finger in the direction you want to go.
- Leave your zone, make a loop and get back home: the trail and everything inside it is yours.
- You can grab rivals' land the same way. A rival who loses all their land is out of the game.
- Touch a rival's trail and they're out. If someone touches yours, you're out.
- Don't hit your own trail or the edge of the map!

Tips
- Make small, frequent loops: the longer your trail, the bigger the risk.
- Head home when a rival comes close: nobody can hurt you inside your own zone.
- Go hunting: cut the trail of a rival who wandered far from home to knock them out and earn 250 points.
- Watch the minimap: the map in the bottom-left corner shows where everyone is.
Frequently asked questions
How is the score calculated? Your biggest area (1% = 100) + 250 for every rival you eliminate. Harder levels earn more points.
How do I win? Cover 50% of the map and the victory is yours!
I'm out. Can I continue? Once per game you can watch a short ad and jump back in with a fresh zone.
