About the game

Rage Cube 3 is a brand-new 3D take on the classic block-rolling puzzle that players in Turkey know as "sinir küpü", the cube that gets on your nerves. You control a grumpy red 1×1×2 block perched on tile platforms floating high above the clouds. Tip it over, roll it along and drop it upright into the exit hole. Sounds simple? Every roll flips the block between standing and lying down, so one careless move and part of it hangs over the edge and it tumbles into the sky. That is exactly where the name comes from.

There are 45 original levels. The first few teach the rules step by step, then fragile orange tiles, round and ✕-shaped switches, bridges that fold in and out and splitter tiles that break your block into two teleporting cubes join the fun. Every level was checked by a computer solver (breadth-first search) to make sure it can be solved and to find the fewest possible moves. There is no timer, so take your time, undo and restart as often as you like. Play Rage Cube 3 online free in your browser on your phone, tablet or computer, no download needed.

How to play

  • On a computer: roll the block with the arrow keys or WASD. Z undoes your last move, R restarts the level and Space switches between split cubes.
  • On a phone: swipe in any direction or tap the four arrow buttons at the bottom. Directions always follow the screen, so you never have to think about the camera angle.
  • Standing up, the block covers 1 tile; lying down, it covers 2. Each roll changes how it sits: a standing block tips over, a lying block either rolls sideways or stands back up.
  • If any part of the block goes over the edge it falls and the level restarts. Right after a fall you can tap ↶ to go back to the move before it.
  • Your goal is to bring the block upright onto the exit hole. A lying block can pass over the hole but won't drop in.
  • Every level has a move counter: finish in the fewest moves for ★★★, within 50% more for ★★, anything else gets ★.

Tile types

TileWhat it does
⬜ Normal tileSafe to stand or lie on.
🟧 Fragile tileCan't take the block's full weight: stand upright on it and it breaks. Lying down is safe.
● Round switchAny part of the block pressing it opens or closes the bridge in its ring colour.
✕ Heavy switchOnly works when the block stands upright on it. A lying block can't trigger it.
🌉 BridgeColoured tiles that appear and vanish with switches. Yellow switches toggle, green ones only open and red ones only close.
🔷 Splitter tileStand on it and the block splits into two cubes that teleport to two different spots. Switch between them and bring them side by side to merge. Only the whole block can drop into the hole.

Rage Cube tips

  • Work backwards: to drop in upright, the block has to lie next to the hole on your final move. Decide which side you'll come from first.
  • Loop to fix your stance: if the block arrives on a narrow path the wrong way round, a small loop (for example up, right, down, left) changes how it lies.
  • Stay flat on fragile tiles: enter a row of orange tiles lying across your direction of travel, so you roll sideways without ever standing up.
  • Switch order matters: some switches close bridges. Think about whether you'll need to come back over a bridge before you press anything.
  • Stand on heavy switches: to fire a ✕ switch the block must stand right on top of it. Approaching lying down from two tiles away usually does the trick.
  • Move split cubes one at a time: park one cube somewhere safe, then bring the other to it. Single cubes are light and can rest on fragile tiles.
  • Use undo freely: there is no timer. Experiment, undo with ↶ and hunt for the shortest route to earn all three stars.

FAQ

What is the "rage cube" game? Known in Turkey as "sinir küpü", it's a logic puzzle where you roll a rectangular block without letting it fall off and drop it upright into a hole. Rage Cube 3 is a free 3D version of the genre with its own original levels.
Is Rage Cube 3 free? Yes, completely free. It runs in your browser on phones and computers without any download.
Do I need level passwords? No. Each level shows a short code for old times' sake, but your progress is saved to your account: clear a level to unlock the next one and carry on from any device.
How are points calculated? Clearing a level for the first time earns 2 to 6 points depending on how far in it is (+1 every 10 levels), and every new star earns 1 more. The leaderboard shows your total points and the highest level you've cleared.
I'm stuck, what can I do? Tap 💡 and watch a short ad for a hint: the solver shows the next 5 correct moves from where you are with arrows. After 8 falls on a level you can watch an ad to mark it as cleared without stars and move on.
How is it different from the earlier Rage Cube games? Rage Cube is a rhythm-based reflex game and Rage Cube 2 is a trap-filled platformer. Rage Cube 3 is a calm, think-it-through block-rolling puzzle.
