About the game
Okey is Turkey's most popular tile game — the one you'll hear clicking away in tea houses, on summer balconies and at family gatherings all over the country. It is played by four people with 106 numbered tiles, a bit like rummy but with its own twists: a wild joker chosen fresh every hand and a race to be the first to complete your rack. Here you can play Okey online for free against three computer opponents, right in your browser on phone or desktop — no download needed.
How to play
- Everyone gets 14 tiles; the starting player gets 15 and opens the game by discarding one.
- On your turn, draw a tile from the pile in the middle or take the tile the player on your left just discarded, then discard one tile.
- Run: at least 3 consecutive numbers of the same colour (e.g. red 4-5-6, or 12-13-1).
- Group: the same number in different colours, 3 or 4 tiles (e.g. yellow 7, blue 7, black 7).
- Pairs: you can also finish with 7 pairs of identical tiles (same colour, same number).
- The tile one higher than the face-up indicator is the joker (okey) and can replace any tile. The false joker (✿) simply plays as the joker's own colour and number.
Scoring
- Finishing your hand earns 8, 12 or 16 points depending on the opponent level.
- Finishing with pairs doubles your points.
- Finishing by discarding the joker doubles your points as well.
- After a win you can watch a short ad to double your points once more.

Okey tips
- Use the joker, don't waste it: the joker is your most valuable tile. Use it to complete a set — never throw it away for nothing.
- Don't feed the player on your right: they can pick up whatever you discard, so hold on to tiles that would help them.
- Stay flexible: keep tiles that could fit into either a run or a group for as long as possible.
- Count your pairs: with 5 pairs already in hand, going for pairs can be the quickest way out.
- Sort runs button: arranges your rack automatically so you can see your sets and missing tiles at a glance.
Frequently asked questions
How many players are there? You and three computer opponents — four players in total, just like a real Okey table.
How do I arrange my tiles? Drag a tile to any spot on your rack, or tap a tile and then tap where you want it to go.
How do I finish my hand? After drawing your 15th tile, select the tile you want to discard and press Finish. If your hand really is complete, you win the round.
