About the game
Bowling is a free sports game where you roll the ball down the lane and try to knock down all 10 pins. It follows real bowling rules: a game lasts 10 frames with 2 rolls each. Knock all pins down on the first roll for a Strike, or on the second for a Spare, and your next rolls are added as a bonus. A perfect game scores 300.
The pins fall with realistic physics: the ball scatters them and they knock each other over. Slide the ball anywhere along the foul line, roll it at an angle, and curve your finger to put a hook on it. Beat your record to unlock new balls. No sign-up needed, just play.
How to play
- Take position: slide your finger left or right to move the ball along the foul line.
- Roll: flick your finger up. The faster the flick, the faster the ball.
- Aim: flick at an angle to roll the ball at an angle.
- Hook: draw a curve as you flick and the ball bends that way near the pins.
- On a computer: drag with the mouse the same way, or use โ โ to move and Space to roll straight.
- Pause: tap the โธ button at the top or press P / Esc. The game pauses by itself when you switch tabs.
How scoring works
- Open frame: the number of pins you knocked down in two rolls.
- Spare (/): 10 + the pins from your next roll.
- Strike (X): 10 + the pins from your next two rolls.
- 10th frame: a strike or spare earns you a third roll.
- Turkey: three strikes in a row!
Points and balls
At the end of a game you earn points for your score and strikes. Scoring 80, 110, 140, 170, 200, 230 and 270 in one game unlocks the Flame, Emerald, Galaxy, Candy, Gold, Rainbow and Diamond balls. Once per game you can watch a short ad to re-roll a bad throw, and you can double your points at the end. Sign up for free to keep your record and points and join the leaderboard.

Strike tips
- Hit the pocket: don't aim at the head pin dead-on; aim between the 1 and 3 pins (1 and 2 if you're left-handed).
- Start wide, hook in: start the ball to the right and add a little left hook, and it enters the pocket at a nice angle.
- Medium speed: a ball that's too fast may not scatter the pins well. Build a steady, medium roll.
- Go straight for spares: to pick up a single pin, drop the hook and roll straight and carefully.
