About the game
Pishti (Pişti) is one of Turkey's best-loved card games, played everywhere from neighbourhood coffee houses to family dinner tables. Two players use a standard 52-card deck, and the goal is simple: sweep up the pile, grab the valuable cards and score pishtis to reach the target before your opponent. It's quick to learn, fast to play and surprisingly tactical. Here you can play Pishti online for free against the computer, whenever you like, on your phone or computer.
How to play
- Each player is dealt 4 cards, and 4 cards go to the middle: 3 face down and 1 face up.
- Take turns playing one card. If your card matches the rank of the top card on the pile, you capture the whole pile.
- A Jack (J) always captures the pile.
- If there is only one card on the pile and you capture it with a matching card, that's a PISHTI: 10 points. Capture a lone Jack with a Jack for 20 points!
- When both hands are empty, 4 new cards each are dealt. When the deck runs out, any cards left on the pile go to the last player who captured.
Scoring
- Each Ace and each Jack: 1 point
- Two of Clubs (♣2): 2 points
- Ten of Diamonds (♦10): 3 points
- Most cards captured: +3 points
- Pishti: 10 points, Jack pishti: 20 points

Pishti tips
- Count the cards: keep track of how many of each rank have been played. Dropping a rank that has already appeared three times is safe.
- Save your Jacks: play a Jack when the pile is big or holds valuable cards.
- Careful with an empty pile: don't drop a valuable card on an empty pile — it hands your opponent an easy pishti.
- Plan the last hand: leftover cards go to whoever captured last, so time your final captures well.
Frequently asked questions
How many points is a game? At the start you choose to play to 51, 101 or 151 points.
Can I change the difficulty? Yes. There are easy, medium and hard opponents — the hard one counts cards.
How are leaderboard points calculated? Every game you win earns points based on the target score and difficulty. After a win you can watch a short ad to double them.
Is it free? Yes, Pishti is completely free to play in your browser, with no download. A free account saves your points and puts you on the leaderboard.
