About the game
Block Puzzle is a relaxing yet seriously addictive brain game: drop colorful pieces onto an 8x8 board, fill complete rows and columns to clear them, and chase the highest score you can. There's no timer, so every move can be as thoughtful as you like. Play Block Puzzle online free, right in your browser on desktop or phone, with nothing to download.
Each round you get three pieces. Place all three and a fresh set arrives. Pieces can't be rotated, so where you put them really matters: always keep room for the big square and the long bars!
How to play
- Drag and drop: Grab one of the pieces at the bottom with your finger or mouse and drop it on a free spot on the board.
- Clear lines: Fill a row or column completely and it bursts, earning you points.
- Build combos: Keep clearing lines on consecutive moves and your combo multiplier climbs all the way up to 8x.
- Multi-clears: Clearing several rows and columns with a single move is worth a lot more.
- All-clear bonus: Empty the entire board to earn +300 points.

Tips for a high score
- Fill the corners and edges first and keep the middle open for the larger pieces.
- Always try to save a spot for the 3x3 square. If it shows up and has nowhere to go, the game is over.
- Look at all three pieces before you place any of them and plan where each one will go.
- Instead of clearing single lines, try to complete several at once: the points multiply.
- Clear at least one line every move to keep your combo streak alive.
Frequently asked questions
Is there a time limit? No, take as long as you like to think.
Can I rotate the pieces? No, pieces are placed exactly as they come.
What happens when the game ends? Your score is saved to the leaderboard. If you like, you can watch a short ad to clear the middle of the board and keep playing (once per game).
Do I need to download anything? No. Block Puzzle runs in your browser on phones, tablets and computers. Just create a free account to save your scores.
