About the game
Sea Battle is the classic naval guessing game that generations have played with nothing more than pencil and squared paper. In Turkey it's known as Amiral Battı, "the admiral is sunk!". You secretly deploy a fleet of five ships on a 10x10 sea, then hunt for the computer's hidden fleet one coordinate at a time. Every hit reveals part of a ship, and once every square of it is hit, down it goes. Sink the whole enemy fleet first and you're the admiral! How to play
- Deploy your fleet: Aircraft Carrier (5), Destroyer (4), Cruiser (3), Submarine (3) and Patrol Boat (2). Pick a ship and tap a square, drag it into place, or use Random.
- Ships can't touch each other, not even diagonally.
- Take turns firing at a square in enemy waters. A miss shows a splash, a hit shows fire, and a sunk ship is marked with a cross.
- Every hit earns you another shot; after a miss, the turn passes to your opponent.
- The first to sink all of the opponent's ships wins. Your score is your hit rate.

Sea Battle tips and strategy
- Fire in a checkerboard pattern: The smallest ship is 2 squares long, so shooting every other square finds every ship with half the shots.
- Finish what you start: After a hit, try the four neighboring squares. Once you get a second hit, follow that line.
- Use the no-touch rule: Ships can't touch, so the squares around a sunk ship are always empty. They're marked for you automatically, so don't waste shots there.
- Hide your own fleet well: Avoid predictable patterns like lining every ship up along the edge. A mix of horizontal and vertical ships is harder to find.
- Save the radar for the endgame: When only small ships are left, a 3x3 radar scan can save you a lot of shots.
Frequently asked questions
Can ships be placed next to each other? No. Ships can't touch each other, not even at the corners.
What is the radar? Once per game you can watch a short ad to scan a 3x3 area of enemy waters; any ship parts there light up green.
How do I earn points? A win is worth 10, 18 or 30 points depending on the difficulty, plus 2 bonus points for every ship you still have afloat (up to 8).
