How does the badge system work?
Every game on Güncel Oyun Oyna is connected to one shared badge system. Whatever you play, be it Okey, Backgammon, Sudoku, Snake or an online Billiards match, your results are checked on our server the moment a game ends. If you have reached a goal, the badge is added to your profile straight away and a small notification appears in the corner of the screen without interrupting your game.
Badges are grouped into ten categories. First steps greet new players, Explorer badges reward trying many different games, Point hunter badges follow your total score across every game, and Victories count your wins. Online badges are only earned against real people, Daily streak badges ask you to drop by day after day, and Puzzles & learning badges come from the Daily Puzzle and our learning games. The rarest ones are the weekly tournament badges and the secret badges nobody talks about.
Tips for collecting badges faster
- Play a little every day. A short game a day keeps your streak alive; the 7-day and 30-day streak badges are among the most respected.
- Try new games. Explorer badges unlock at 5, 15 and 30 different games, and there is a diamond badge for trying them all.
- Join the weekly tournament. Every point you score in the game of the week counts. Finishing in the top 10 is enough for your first tournament badge.
- Sit down at an online table. Okey, Backgammon, Mangala, Billiards and more can be played against real opponents, and online wins have badges of their own.
- Add friends and share your opinion. Your first friend and your first approved review each unlock a social badge.
Why are badges fair?
Badges and tournament points are only calculated from results our server has verified. Scores are limited by game time, games that end too quickly do not count, and no badge can be bought. Everyone starts from the same line, so every badge on a profile has really been earned.
Frequently asked questions
What are badges?
Badges are achievements you earn automatically while playing on Güncel Oyun Oyna. Finishing your first game, winning online, keeping a daily streak or reaching the top of the weekly tournament all unlock a badge that is shown on your profile forever.
Do I need an account to earn badges?
Yes. Badges are saved to your free account, so sign up (a username and password are enough) and every result you play from then on counts. Guest progress is kept when you sign up, and your earlier statistics are also checked when you open this page.
I already played a lot before badges existed. Do my old games count?
Yes. When you open your badge page or your profile, we look at your existing game statistics (games played, wins, points, online results, daily puzzles, learning activities) and award every badge you have already earned.
What do the bronze, silver, gold and diamond colours mean?
They show how hard a badge is. Bronze badges come naturally in your first days, silver needs regular play, gold is for dedicated players and diamond badges are the rarest of all.
What are secret badges?
Some badges are hidden until you earn them. We will only say that they reward unusual habits, such as playing at unusual hours or putting together a long winning run.
Can I lose a badge?
No. Once earned, a badge stays on your profile. Only badges obtained by cheating or by breaking the terms of use can be removed by the site team.
