About the game

Tiny Farm is a warm, cosy farm game where you raise baby animals on your very own little farm. It all starts with a single egg in the incubator: tap it to keep it warm, watch the shell crack bit by bit, and out pops a fluffy little yellow chick. You give it a name, and from that moment on it's the sweetest resident of your farm.

The best part is that your animals grow in real time. Your chick turns into a young chick, then into a plump hen or a proud, colourful rooster. Grown-up hens lay eggs in the nest; sell them for gold or put them in the incubator to hatch even more chicks. As your farm levels up, a kitten, a puppy and a baby budgie join the family, each with its own home, its own favourite food and its own special gift.

Tiny Farm was made with kids in mind: no animal ever dies, gets sick or runs away. If an animal is neglected it simply looks a little sad and stops growing, and it cheers right up as soon as you feed it, fill its water bowl and give it a cuddle. Cute hand-made drawings, animals that blink, flap, wag and peck, a day-and-night cycle that follows the real clock and gentle sounds keep the farm feeling alive. Play Tiny Farm online free in your browser on a phone, tablet or computer, with nothing to download.

How to play

  • Your first chick: Tap the egg in the incubator to keep it warm. When the ring fills up, the egg cracks open and your chick hatches. Give it any name you like.
  • Care: Tap an animal to open its card. You'll see its food, water, love and clean bars, its growth bar and its hearts. Feed it, fill the water bowl, cuddle it and brush it. Stroke an animal with your finger and it showers you with hearts.
  • Everyone eats something different: Chickens eat wheat or corn, cats milk or fish, dogs bones or dog food, and birds seeds. Buy food at the shop or grow it yourself in the garden.
  • Growing up: Animals go from Baby to Young to Adult, and they really look different at each stage. Well-cared-for animals grow faster; hungry or thirsty ones pause. When your chick grows up a little, you choose whether it becomes a hen or a rooster, or leave it as a surprise.
  • Eggs and hatching: Grown-up hens lay eggs in the nest. Tap the nest to collect them, then sell them in the barn or hatch new chicks. The coop has limited space, but you can expand it at the shop.
  • Garden: Tap an empty plot to plant wheat, corn or sunflowers. Water it to start growing, then tap to harvest once it's ripe. Sunflowers give the seeds your bird loves.
  • Tidying up: Tap the little messes and feathers around the coop and doghouse to pick them up, or clean the coop with one tap from its card.
  • Gifts: The rooster crows every morning and makes the whole farm happy, the cat chases mice out of the barn, the dog digs up bones or gold, and the bird sings songs that spread love to everyone.
  • Mini games: In Egg Catch, catch the eggs the hens drop with your basket and dodge the mud balls. In Chick Round-up, tap the runaway chicks to send them back to the coop. Both earn gold and XP.

Farm tips

  • Water and food first: Growth depends most on food and water. Before you leave, fill every water bowl and feed your animals so they keep growing while you're away.
  • Love speeds things up: Animals grow fastest when all four bars are high. Cuddles and brushing are free, so do them often!
  • Keep the garden busy: Wheat ripens in just a few minutes. Plant, water, go do something else and come back to harvest; you'll save gold on food.
  • Use eggs wisely: If there's room in the coop, hatch your eggs and grow the farm. If not, sell them and use the gold to expand the coop.
  • Daily tasks: Three new tasks arrive every day. Each one pays gold and XP, and the daily login reward grows with your streak.
  • Don't forget the rooster: A grown-up rooster crows once a day; every crow earns gold and cheers up all your animals.

FAQ

Can my animals die or disappear? No. In Tiny Farm no animal ever dies, runs away or disappears. An animal that's been left alone for a long time just looks sad and stops growing; once you come back and look after it, it cheers up and starts growing again.
What happens when I close the game? Your farm keeps living in real time: animals get hungry and thirsty and, if well cared for, keep growing; hens lay eggs and your crops ripen. All your progress is saved on the server.
How long does an animal take to grow up? A well-cared-for chick becomes young in a few hours and an adult a few hours after that. Cats, dogs and birds grow a little more slowly. You can watch a short ad to speed things up if you like, but ads are never required.
How do I get a cat, a dog and a bird? They unlock in the Animals tab of the shop as your farm levels up: the kitten at level 2, the puppy at level 4 and the baby bird at level 6.
How do I earn gold? By selling eggs and crops, playing mini games, finishing daily tasks, collecting the daily reward, levelling up and receiving gifts from your animals.
How does the leaderboard work? Your total XP counts as your points, and your farm level is shown next to it.
Is it suitable for kids? Absolutely. It's a calm, loving game with no violence, and it teaches animal care, responsibility and patience in a fun way.
Do I need an account? No, you can start playing straight away. Sign up for free to link your farm to an account, continue on any device and join the leaderboard.
