About the game

Pyramid Solitaire is a free card game where 28 cards are laid out in a pyramid and you clear it by pairing two cards that add up to 13. The rule is simple: an Ace counts 1, a Jack 11, a Queen 12, and a King is 13 on its own. If two open cards add up to 13, tap them both and they're gone. As the cards at the bottom go, the ones above them open up.

When there are no pairs left in the pyramid, draw from the deck and pair the open card with pyramid cards. When the deck runs out it starts over, and you get 3 rounds in total. Every level's deal is checked by the computer to be solvable, so every level has a solution. No sign-up needed, just play.

How to play

• Make 13: tap two open cards that add up to 13: 6+7, 5+8, 4+9, 3+10, 2+J, A+Q.
• Kings: a K is 13 on its own; tap it to remove it.
• Open cards: a card opens when both cards below it are gone. Faded cards are still covered.
• Deck: tap the deck to draw. You can pair the top open card. On a computer, Space also draws.
• Rounds: when the deck runs out it starts over in the same order. You get 3 rounds.
• Pause: tap the ⏸ button at the top or press P / Esc. The game and timer pause by themselves when you switch tabs.

Helpers

• ↩️ Undo: takes back your last move (3 per level).
• 💡 Hint: shows the next move on the way to a solution, and tells you if you've taken a wrong turn!

Scoring and stars

Clear the pyramid in the first round for 3 stars, or in the second for 2. Every pair and every cleared row adds to your score. If you get stuck, watch a short ad for +1 round, and double your points at the end of a level. Sign up for free to keep your progress and points and join the leaderboard.

• Pyramid first: if there's a pair in the pyramid, make it before drawing.
• Unlock blockers: try to remove cards that cover more than one card first.
• Remember the deck: it comes in the same order every round, so note the cards in the first round.
• Don't rush: one pair can spoil a more important one. If you're stuck, check a hint.
