About the game
Tank Battle is a fast, explosive top-down action game: you drive your tank around an arena and hunt down rival tanks. Blast holes through brick walls, take cover behind steel blocks, set ambushes in the bushes, grab the power-ups that pop up on the map and fight until yours is the last tank standing! Battle across four arenas, from sandy desert oases and snowy glacier valleys to dense forests and abandoned city streets, completely free in your browser with nothing to download.
Clear out enemy tank squads on your own in a 30-level campaign, hold the line against wave after wave in Survival, or jump into ๐ Online Battle for live 2-8 player matches against real people. Spend the gold you earn in the garage to upgrade your engine, armour and cannon, and unlock new skins for your tank.
How to play
- Computer: drive with WASD or the arrow keys, aim with the mouse and fire with a left click or Space. Hold the mouse button and your cannon fires again as soon as it reloads. P pauses the game.
- Phone: drive with the virtual joystick on the left; your tank turns towards where you push, and pulls back in reverse if you pull the other way. The right joystick turns your turret: push it out and hold to keep firing, or tap / release for a single shot. In the โ๏ธ menu you can switch to FIRE button + auto-aim, where your turret locks onto the nearest enemy by itself. Use two thumbs to drive and shoot at the same time, in portrait or landscape.
- Levels: each level sends a set number of enemy tanks; destroy them all to win. Finish with 60% health for 3 stars, 25% for 2 stars. A triple-barrelled Titan waits for you on levels 10, 20 and 30.
- Survival: hold out against endless waves on a random arena. Every wave is bigger and tougher, and a Titan rolls in every fifth wave. Your score goes on the leaderboard.

Arena and power-ups
๐งฑ Brick walls crumble after a few hits, while โฌ steel blocks never break. Tanks can't cross ๐ water, but shells fly right over it. ๐ฟ Bushes hide you: rivals only spot you up close or when you fire. In single-player levels, watch out for ๐ฃ mines! Power-ups that appear on the map: ๐ก๏ธ shield (soaks up most damage), ๐จ speed, ๐ฑ double shot, ๐ ricochet shells (bounce off steel twice) and ๐ง repair.
๐ Online battle
Log in, open Online Battle, create a table and send the ๐ link to your friends, or use quick play to join a waiting table. The host picks Free-for-all or Teams (blue vs red), whether the match ends after 3 minutes, 5 minutes or 10 kills, the number of tanks (2-8) and the map; everyone picks their own tank class and skin. Computer tanks fill any empty seats. Destroyed tanks respawn at a safe spot after 3 seconds. In Free-for-all you earn 1st +25, 2nd +15, 3rd +10 and everyone else +5 points; in Teams the winning team gets +25, and every kill adds +1 (up to +10). The server keeps track of health, damage and kills, so rapid-fire or teleport cheats simply don't work.

Tips
- Shoot on the move: a parked tank is an easy target. Circle your rival and slip out of the way of incoming shells.
- Lead your shots: shells take time to land, so aim where a moving tank is going. Artillery and rockets reload slowly, so make every shot count.
- Use cover: pop out from behind steel, fire and duck back. Brick cover crumbles over time, so keep moving.
- Ambush from the bushes: enemies can't see you while you wait in a bush; take the first shot when they come close.
- Chase power-ups: repair tops up your health and a shield can win a fight on its own. Double shot and ricochet shells let you hit rivals hiding around corners.
- Visit the garage: buy armour and cannon upgrades before the tough levels, and switch tactics once you unlock the heavy and artillery classes.
Frequently asked questions
Is Tank Battle free? Yes, it's completely free and runs in your browser with nothing to install.
Can I play on my phone? Yes. Use twin virtual sticks (left to drive, right to aim and fire) or the FIRE button with auto-aim. It works in portrait and landscape, and you can drive and shoot with two thumbs at once.
Can I continue after my tank is destroyed? Once per level or survival run you can watch a short ad to respawn with full health. At the end of a level you can also watch an ad to double the gold you earned.
What is gold for? In the garage you can buy engine (speed), armour (health) and cannon (damage and reload) upgrades and unlock new skins. Upgrades apply in single player only, so online matches stay fair, but your unlocked skins show up online too.
Can I play with my friends? Yes! Sign up for free, open a table in Online Battle and send the link. 2 to 8 players fight in the same arena in Free-for-all or Teams, and computer tanks fill any empty seats.
