About the game
Bomb Master is a fast-paced arcade game where a little miner in a hard hat drops bombs in grid arenas, blasts through brick walls and leaves the monsters caught in the flames. If you love classic bomb-dropping maze games you will feel at home straight away: drop a bomb, duck around a corner and watch the blast spread out in a + shape. The real fun is in the timing, though: setting off one bomb with another in a chain reaction, trapping an enemy between two blasts, or turning a corner just in time to dodge your own fire.
There are two modes. Adventure takes you through 30 levels spread across five regions: Meadow, Cave, Desert, Ice and Volcano. Every region brings new kinds of enemies, and every 6th level ends with a giant boss. In Duel you take on the computer head to head or in a four-player free-for-all, and the first to win two rounds takes the match. Shaded 3D-style blocks, wobbling fuses, roaring flames and screen-shaking explosions make every level a treat. How to play
- On a computer: walk with the arrow keys or WASD and drop a bomb with Space. With the remote detonator power-up, press E to set your bomb off whenever you like. Esc pauses the game.
- On a phone: walk with the direction pad at the bottom left and drop bombs with the big BOMB button at the bottom right.
- A bomb goes off after 2.5 seconds and the flames shoot out in four directions as far as your range allows. Grey blocks never break, bricks do. If the blast hits another bomb, that one goes off straight away.
- The flames burn you too! After dropping a bomb, step out of its line of fire.
- Adventure: beat every enemy on the level, then find the exit hidden under one of the bricks and step inside. You get 3 minutes and 3 lives per level.
- Duel: pick 1v1 or 1v3 and a difficulty. The last one standing takes the round, and the first to win 2 rounds wins the match.

Enemies
- Slime: slow and easy-going, wanders around at random. A gentle warm-up for the first levels.
- Buzzer: winged and very fast. Get ahead of it and leave a bomb in its path.
- Wisp: drifts right through bricks, so you never quite know where it will pop out.
- Trickster: sees your bombs coming and dodges the blast. Corner it.
- Horned Imp: chases you the moment it spots you. Drop bombs behind you as you run.
- Bosses: the Giant Slime, Rock Golem, Sand King, Frost Giant and Lava Drake. They take several hits, call in helpers, and in the later regions they throw bombs of their own.

Bomb Master tips
- Plan your escape first: know where you will hide before you drop the bomb. The safest spot is around a corner, out of the bomb's row and column.
- Watch out for dead ends: drop a bomb in a long corridor and run straight down the same corridor, and the blast may catch you. Always head for a turn.
- Chain reactions: with several bombs, line them up so the first blast sets off the rest. You can clear a huge area in one go.
- Herd the enemies: bombs block enemy paths. Trap fast enemies in a corridor and close it off with a bomb.
- Find the exit early: the exit stays shut until every enemy is gone, but knowing where it is saves precious seconds at the end.
- Race for power-ups in duels: break bricks in the first seconds and grab extra bombs and range. Pinning a rival in a corner where they can't escape their own bomb is the deadliest move.
FAQ
Is Bomb Master free? Yes, completely free. It runs in your browser on phones and computers without any download.
Is my progress saved? Yes. The Adventure levels you clear are saved to your account, so you can pick up where you left off on any device.
How are points calculated? In Adventure, every level you clear for the first time earns 2 points, plus 1 more per region as you go further, and boss levels add a +5 bonus. In Duel, a win earns 4, 8 or 14 points depending on difficulty, 1.75 times as much in 1v3 matches, plus 2 extra points for a clean 2-0. Your best level score becomes your high score.
I ran out of lives, what now? Once per level you can watch a short ad to get +1 life (or +60 seconds if time ran out) and carry on. At the start of a level you can also watch an ad to begin with +1 bomb, +1 range and a shield.
Do the computer players blow themselves up? Very rarely. The bots work out which tiles are dangerous and only drop a bomb when they have a safe way out. On Hard they will also try to trap you.
