About the game
Water Sort is a calm yet brain-teasing logic puzzle: pour coloured water between tubes until every tube holds just one colour. Over 250 levels the number of colours grows from 3 to 12, and every single level is solved by the computer in advance to make sure it can be solved. So however stuck you get, there is always a way out! Play Water Sort online free in your browser or on your phone, no download needed.
How to play
- Tap a tube, then tap the tube you want to pour the water into.
- Water can only go into an empty tube or onto a tube whose top colour matches.
- Each tube holds up to 4 layers. Matching layers on top pour together, as many as there is room for.
- When every tube is a single colour, the level is complete and the next one unlocks.
- You get 3 free undos and 3 hints on every level. If you get stuck, you can always restart.

Water Sort tips
- Don't waste empty tubes: Empty tubes are your most valuable resource. Only fill one when you really need to.
- Finish nearly-done tubes first: Completing a tube that already has three layers of the same colour frees up the board quickly.
- Watch the bottom colours: The colour at the bottom of a tube decides which colour that tube will end up with. Plan around it.
- Use undo wisely: If you realise you are heading into a dead end, step back a few moves or restart.
FAQ
Is every level really solvable? Yes. Levels are generated from a fixed seed and checked with a computer solver before they go into the game.
Will I lose my progress? No, the highest level you have cleared is saved to your account, so you can pick up where you left off on any device.
How are points calculated? Every level you clear for the first time earns 1 point, plus a +1 bonus for every 20 levels (up to +10). The leaderboard also shows the highest level you have reached.
I'm stuck, what can I do? The hint button shows you the next correct move. You can also watch a short ad for an extra empty tube or +5 undos.
