About the game
Word Wheel is a relaxing word puzzle where you swipe across a wheel of letters to spell English words and fill in a little crossword. Every level hides a handful of everyday words inside just 4 to 7 letters, and the fun is in spotting them all. With 160 hand-picked levels that slowly grow from four letters to seven, it is a great way to warm up your brain, stretch your vocabulary and unwind for a few minutes. Play Word Wheel online free in your browser, on your phone or computer, with nothing to download.
How to play
- Swipe your finger (or drag the mouse) across the letters on the wheel to spell a word, then let go to submit it.
- Correct words slide into their place in the crossword grid above the wheel.
- Find every word in the grid and the level is complete.
- Real English words that aren't in the grid count as bonus words and earn you coins.
- Spend coins on hints to reveal a letter, or tap shuffle to rearrange the wheel.

- Start small: Three-letter words are quick to find, and every one you place reveals letters that give away the longer words crossing it.
- Think in endings: English loves endings like -ER, -ED, -ING and -S. If you see them in the wheel, try building words around them.
- Shuffle often: A fresh arrangement of the same letters is often all it takes to see a word you were missing.
- Collect bonus words: Every bonus word earns coins. Save them for the tougher seven-letter levels at the end.
FAQ
How many levels are there? There are 160 levels. The first ones use 4 letters and the last ones use 7-letter root words.
Is my progress saved? Yes, the highest level you have completed is saved to your account. English and Turkish levels are tracked separately.
How are points calculated? Each level you complete for the first time earns 1 point, plus 1 extra point for every 5 words in the grid.
I'm stuck, what can I do? Use the 💡 button to reveal a letter for coins, or watch a short ad to reveal up to 3 letters per level for free.
Which words count? Grid answers are common, family-friendly English words of 3 letters or more. Bonus words come from a larger standard dictionary.
