About the game
Slide Race is a splashy 3D water park racing game where you rush down giant, colourful water slides against a crowd of rivals. You start at the top of a tall tower on a tropical island, sitting in your inflatable ring and waiting for the countdown. The moment it hits zero, everybody pushes off: twisting curves, corkscrew spirals, steep drops and short climbs carry you all the way down to a big pool at the bottom. The goal is simple: be the first to splash into the pool!
The fastest route is not always the slide itself, though. The slide winds back and forth above the island, with parts stacked over and beside each other. Hit a curve at full speed, ride up the outer wall and you fly off the edge; steer in mid-air and you can drop onto another section further down for a huge shortcut. Miss, and you land in the sea and you are out. That fine line between bravery and caution is what keeps you coming back for one more race. Nothing to install: it plays free in your browser, with one finger on a phone or with the keyboard and mouse on a computer.
How to play
- Phone: drag your finger left and right across the screen; your rider moves up the left or right wall of the half-pipe slide.
- Computer: steer with โ โ (or A, D) or drag with the mouse. Press P to pause.
- Speed: you pick up speed on the drops and slow down on the flat bits and climbs. The gauge at the bottom shows your speed in km/h.
- Curves: take a curve fast and you swing up the outer wall. Go over the edge and you launch into the air; steer to the inside to stay safe.
- Flying and shortcuts: steer left and right while airborne. A green target ring appears when there is slide below you; land there and you have taken a shortcut. Drop from too high and you bounce off the slide, so aim for sections that are close below.
- Bumping: crash into the rider in front of you hard from behind and you knock them off the slide for a โ+1 knockoutโ. Rivals can bump you too!
- Finish: the slide ends with a dive into the pool. The top of the screen shows your place, how many racers are left and everyone's progress.
Online races against real players
Beaten the computer riders? Time for real people! In Online race mode, open an 8-seat table and send the ๐ invite link to your friends, or use quick play to join a waiting table. Once at least two players are seated a 25-second countdown starts, and computer riders fill the empty spots. Everyone slides down the same slide at the same moment. Whenever possible the devices connect directly (โก); otherwise the data flows through our server (๐), and a small badge shows your link and delay.
The live standings on the left show who is ahead, with real players in white. Ram a friend hard from behind to knock them off the slide! After you splash into the pool you can watch the others, and a results table appears when the race is over. You earn online points by place (1st +25 โฆ 8th +5, +1 per knockout) plus coins for outfits, and the server decides the final order. If a player drops out, the AI rides on for them.

Levels, coins and outfits
There are 100 levels, each with its own slide. As you progress the slides get longer, the curves get tighter, there are more spirals, and the field of rivals grows bigger and more skilled. Every race you finish unlocks the next level, and you can replay any level you have already opened.
Every race pays out points and coins based on where you finish. Spend coins on eight different outfits: the classic red ring, lemonade, watermelon, yellow duck, flamingo, shark, rainbow horn and golden crown. Purchases and your balance are stored on the server, so your progress stays safe in your account.

On top of that, every knockout (up to 5) adds +1 point and +4 coins, every 20 levels add +1 point, and each level adds half a coin of bonus.
Tips
- Read the slide: watch the slide from above before the race starts. Wherever one section passes right above or beside another, there is a possible shortcut.
- Launch from the outside of a curve: for a shortcut, ride hard up the outer wall in a curve. The swing throws you off the edge and you adjust your line in the air.
- Follow the green ring: while airborne, if your shadow and the green target ring are on a slide, you are safe. If the ring disappears, change direction right away.
- Don't jump too far down: try to land several floors below and you will bounce off. Aim one level down instead.
- Bump at full speed: line up behind the rider in front while you are flying down a drop. A hard hit knocks them out and moves you up a place.
- Stay out of the crowd: if someone fast is coming up behind you, ride a little higher on the wall so they can't line up a hit.
Frequently asked questions
I fell off the slide. Can I continue? Once per race you can watch a short ad to get back on the slide and keep racing from where you left off.
Can I earn more coins? Yes. When you finish a race you can watch a short ad to double the coins from that race.
How are points calculated? Leaderboard points depend on your finishing place, with small bonuses for knockouts and higher levels. Races where you don't reach the pool give no points. The record column shows the highest level you have reached.
Can I play on my phone? Yes. The game was designed for portrait phone screens with one-finger drag controls, and it plays smoothly with a keyboard or mouse on a computer too.
Can I race my friends? Yes! Sign up free, open Online race, create a table and send the link. Up to 8 riders race at one table.
What do I need? Any up-to-date browser with WebGL support (Chrome, Edge, Firefox, Safari). No install, no download.
