About the game
Traffic Rush is a racing game where you drive flat out through heavy motorway traffic. Pick a car or a motorbike, weave between vehicles and squeeze past trucks and buses. The faster you go, the more points you score! Race through day, sunset and night scenery on winding, hilly roads, free in your browser with nothing to download.
How to play
- Computer: Change lanes with ← → (or A D), brake with ↓ and fire the nitro with Space. P pauses.
- Phone: Steer with ◀ ▶ at the bottom left, 🛑 brakes and 🔥 fires the nitro. You can also tap the left/right half of the screen to steer.
- Your vehicle speeds up by itself. Above 70 km/h you score points every moment.
- Squeeze past other vehicles for a NEAR MISS bonus that also fills your nitro.
- You reach a new stage every 1 km. The first stages are easy; as you progress you go faster, traffic gets heavier and cars start changing lanes.
- Hit a vehicle and the race is over.

Tips
- Save nitro for an open road: boost when the way ahead is clear to go faster and score more.
- Watch out for trucks: long vehicles take longer to pass, so look before you change lanes.
- Don't forget the brake: a quick tap can save you when the road ahead closes up.
- Lane-split on the bike: the motorbike is slim enough to slip between two cars.
Frequently asked questions
How is the score calculated? You earn points continuously based on your speed, plus a bonus equal to your speed for every near miss. In two-way mode, points are doubled in the oncoming lanes.
I crashed. Can I continue? Once per race you can watch a short ad and carry on from where you crashed.
Can I play on my phone? Yes, with on-screen buttons, in landscape or portrait.
