About the game
Ludo is the classic roll-and-move board game that families all over the world grow up with, and in Turkey it goes by the cheeky name Kızma Birader, which roughly means "Don't get mad, brother!". Four players each race four pieces once around the board and into their own home column. Land on a rival's piece and you send it straight back to its yard, which is exactly why nobody is allowed to get mad. Here you take on three computer opponents. How to play
- You play the red pieces. When it's your turn, roll the die and then tap the piece you want to move.
- You need a 6 to bring a piece out of your yard. Rolling a 6 earns you another roll, but three 6s in a row ends your turn.
- If you have no pieces on the track, you get 3 tries to roll a 6.
- Land on a square occupied by an opponent and you knock that piece back to its yard. You can't land on your own piece.
- A piece sitting on its own start square is safe and can't be knocked out.
- Pieces must enter the home column with an exact roll. Get all four pieces home first to win.

Ludo tips and strategy
- Never miss a capture: Knocking out a rival piece that is close to home sets that player back by several turns.
- Stay out of striking range: Sitting 1 to 6 squares in front of an opponent's piece is risky. Run ahead or slip in behind it when you can.
- Don't block your start square: You can't bring out a new piece while one of yours is still on your start square, so move it along when you roll a 6.
- Keep away from rival start squares: An opponent with pieces in the yard will knock out any piece on their start square as soon as they roll a 6.
- Spread your moves: Keeping a few pieces in play gives you more options for every roll than racing a single piece.
Frequently asked questions
How many players are there? You and three computer opponents. Choose their difficulty (easy, medium or hard) at the start of each game.
My rolls keep letting me down. What can I do? Watch a short ad to reroll the die, up to twice per game.
How do I earn points? Finish first to earn 10, 15 or 20 points depending on the difficulty; second place earns 3 points.
Is it free? Yes. Ludo is completely free to play on desktop and mobile, no download required.
