About the game
Falling Blocks is a classic block puzzle: rotate and drop the four-square pieces falling from above to complete horizontal lines. Completed lines vanish, the well empties and your score climbs. Every 10 lines you level up and the pieces fall faster. If the well fills to the top, it's game over! Play Falling Blocks online free in your browser or on your phone, no download needed.
How to play
- On a computer: ← → move, ↓ soft drop, ↑ / X rotate clockwise, Z rotate anticlockwise, Space hard drop, C hold piece, P pause.
- On a phone: Tap the well to rotate, swipe left or right to move, swipe down for a soft drop, and swipe up or flick down quickly for a hard drop. You can also play with the buttons below.
- The ghost piece shows where your piece will land; the Next box shows the upcoming pieces and the Hold box shows the piece you have stored.
- All 7 pieces come once in every bag of 7, so you never wait too long for the piece you need.

Tips
- Leave a well on the side: Keep one column empty and clear four lines at once with the long straight piece.
- Keep the surface flat: A bumpy stack makes every piece harder to place.
- Avoid holes: Lines with gaps buried underneath are very hard to clear.
- Use the hold box: Saving the long straight piece for a quad really pays off.
FAQ
How are leaderboard points calculated? Every 500 score gives 1 leaderboard point, and every 5 lines adds +1.
Can pieces rotate next to a wall? Yes, the rotation system supports wall and floor kicks; if a piece doesn't fit, it shifts sideways as it turns.
What happens when the well is full? Once per game you can watch a short ad to clear the bottom 6 rows and keep playing.
