About the game

Full Moon Village is an online vampires and villagers party game, a social deduction and bluffing game you play with friends or real people. On the night of the full moon, vampires have crept into a quiet mountain village, and nobody knows who they are. At the start of every match each player draws a secret role card: an ordinary villager, the village doctor, a seer who glimpses the truth, or a vampire who looks perfectly innocent by daylight.

At night the vampires agree on a victim in their secret chat while the special roles quietly do their work. In the morning the village learns who did not survive, and the debate begins. Voice your suspicions, catch the contradictions, defend yourself and vote on who should hang. The village wins when every vampire is gone; the vampires win once they match the villagers in number.

Tables seat 6 to 16 players. Empty seats are filled by computer villagers, so you can start a match within minutes even on your own. Want to try it without an account? Open the practice mode with bots. It is free, needs no download and runs in your browser on phone or desktop.

How to play

  • Open or join a table: On the online page, open a table and send the ๐Ÿ”— link to friends, or sit at a waiting table. The host picks the player count, the speed and which roles are in play.
  • Role card: When the match starts your card flips and shows your role. Keep it to yourself!
  • ๐ŸŒ™ Night: Players with a night role tap someone in the square to pick a target. The vampires talk in their own secret chat while the village sleeps.
  • ๐ŸŒ… Morning: The village learns who died in the night, or that someone was saved.
  • โ˜€๏ธ Day: Everyone debates freely in the village chat. Quick messages and emoji help you speak up fast.
  • ๐Ÿ—ณ๏ธ Vote: Tap the player you want to hang; votes are counted live. The most-voted player makes a final defense.
  • โš–๏ธ Verdict: The village says โ€œHangโ€ or โ€œSpareโ€. If the majority hangs, the player dies and their role is revealed, then night falls again.
  • ๐Ÿ‘ป Spirits: Dead players keep watching the match and chat in the Spirits channel that only the dead can see.

Tips and tactics

  • Villagers, talk: Quiet players draw suspicion. Explain what you think and who you trust, and why.
  • Follow the votes: Who voted for whom? Vampires tend to shield each other and pile onto an innocent. Watch the vote arrows closely.
  • Seers, be patient: Revealing a vampire right away is tempting, but the pack will come for you that night. Pick a moment when the doctor can cover you.
  • Doctors, read the room: A seer or mayor who has come out in the open is the vampires' first target; saving them can swing the match.
  • Vampires, don't over-defend: Protecting a packmate too hard exposes you both. Sometimes a teammate has to be sacrificed.
  • Hunters, aim carefully: Remember how people voted and take the most suspicious player down with you.

FAQ

How many players? Tables can be set for 6, 8, 10, 12 or 16 players. If there are not enough real people, computer villagers take the empty seats.
Can I play alone? Yes. Open an online table and start right away to play with bots, or try practice mode without an account.
How do I earn points? In online matches the winning team gets +20, survivors +5, each correct vote +2 and the match MVP +5. With fewer than 3 real players at the table, points are halved.
Am I out when I die? No. As a spirit you see every role, keep watching the match and chat with the other dead players in the Spirits channel.
Is the chat safe? Rude words and links are hidden automatically, and the โ‹ฎ menu next to a message lets you report or block a player. Use ๐ŸŒ to translate messages.
What if I disconnect? Short drops keep your seat; if you stay away too long the computer plays for you and you get no points for that match.
